Cambodia Missions Team News

This year we will go to several locations where we have not served before (marked*). Pastor Jonah wrote a description of each location for us. Pray for safe travel, good health, wisdom and guidance as we share the good news of our hope in Jesus. 

*TOMNOKPROLOK: This village is a village for the fishermen. There are about 1000 families living in this community. We just started a home church in this village and the attendance is about 30 people including children. We are praying for $100.00 per month for the ministry in this village for transportation, house rent, and refreshment. About 100 patients will be seen in this village.

BUFFALO VILLAGE: We have been running a school in this village for the last 9 years. There are 9 classes, 7 full time teachers with about 230 students. We will be doing medical, evangelism and dedication of the new school building. About 200 patients will be seeing in this village.

SMACH DENG VILLAGE: It's a medium size village. It has two local churches. One of the former SLM's staff is taking care of a church here.

*OSETY AG CHURCH: This church is located in the center of the city. We have been to this church & Pastor San has helped us in the baptism services but this is the 1^st time we will have a medical service with this church. It has about 4 prayer cell groups scattered around the city. Expect to see about 75 patients.

*VILLAGE NEAR KOH KONG TOWN (Phum Pankoncha): There are many villages around Koh Kong town but the team will visit only one village. This village has about 500 families. Expect to see around 150 patients.

*PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH: One of SLM's Bible students along with his wife is taking care of this church. About 50 patients are expected to be treated.
